that is fun, and creative? Theatremania is a theatre & arts activity week specially designed for children aged between 5 & 12 at Bishop Perowne Church of England College, specialist in the performing arts. Below are details for each age group.
Our Day Out
30th July - 3rd August 2012
Age 5 - 8 yrs
10.00am – 12.00pm £35
If you are interested in acting, making puppets or just fancy a bit of fun, then come along for an exciting week of creativity! We will have fun sticking gluing and making some fantastic masterpieces. Where will we go on OUR DAY OUT; maybe a journey in a fantastical time machine or to a world of gruesome goblins and magical wizards, using our own imagination to take us on a fabulous journey.
The Labyrinth
30th July - 3rd August 2012
(with a performance on the Friday evening)
Age 9 - 12 yrs
1.00pm – 4.30pm £55
Come and have creative and imaginative fun working towards our own production, The Labyrinth based on the original film directed by Jim Henson and starring David Bowie. A fantasy tale of a young teenager journey into a magical world frought with obsticles and danger, based on classic stories such as The Wizard of Oz and Alice through the Looking Glass. Young Sarah is left home alone by her parents and she has to babysit her little brother Toby. But the baby keeps crying and Sarah, while telling him a story to make him sleep, inadvertently conjures from a fantasy world the Goblin King who steals the child and brings him to his castle in the middle of a labyrinth. Sarah has to rescue him before midnight, or the baby will became a goblin... forever!!! Whether you are interested in acting, or prefer the arty side, there will be something inventive and imaginative for everyone. Get involved in the performance or help create the set/props.

ACTIVITY WEEK!
